Live from the Downtown Marriott on Kansas City's famous 12th Street Strip, where Basie tickled the ivories and Big Joe Turner shouted the blues, this one hour weekly program celebrates the artists who made jazz and blues the quintessential American art form.
Hosts Pearl McDonald and Pete Weber, jazz artists Joe Cartwight, Tyrone Clark and Mike Warren and vocalists David Basse and Nedra Dixon keep the music alive in a rapid fire program of topical sketch comedy, jazz and the blues.
Admission to the show is free; doors at the KC Marriott Downtown, 200 West 12th Street, open Saturday nights at 11:30PM.
There is a one drink minimum during the show.
Validated parking at the Marriott garage is subject to space availability.
