The Voice of the People A Tribute to Kansas City History, As Told Through Walt Bodine On Friday, April 24, 2009 the Walt Bodine Show broadcast live from the KC Public Library Plaza Branch. Walt and special guest Chuck Haddix, host of The Fish Fry and Director of the Marr Sound Archive discussed recently re-discovered interviews conducted by Bodine with notable figures such as Robert F. Kennedy, Werner von Braun, Kansas City Mayor Ilus Davis, and many more. This event was co-sponsored by the Kansas City Museum, KCUR-FM, LaBudde Special Collections at Miller Nichols Library, and the Friends of the UMKC Library.
