Fallout from the NAACP's Tea Party Resolution

Last week, NAACP delegates debated and voted on a resolution calling the Tea Party movement to repudiate "racist elements." But convention attendees seemed to disagree on whether the issue should be the Tea Party's central agenda, or just fringe members.

Michelle Obama Tells NAACP Convention to Get Up

Michelle Obama was in Kansas City yesterday, where she addressed the national NAACP convention. The First Lady warned the longest running civil rights group not to take their accomplishments for granted. She said a new threat is facing the next generation of African Americans. And as KCUR's Elana Gordon reports, she challenged everyone to 'get up' - literally - and do something about it.
