 Since 1957, Kansas City has turned to KCUR 89.3 FM as the source for NPR News, local news and entertainment. And, in that time, listeners have supported KCUR with generous donations to continue a service that enlightens, entertains, and enriches the community. Now you too can become a part of this tradition by becoming a KCUR Member today. Our members provide KCUR with our largest and most reliable source of revenue. Almost half of the annual operating budget is funded through generous contributions from listeners just like you. And, by becoming a member today, you help KCUR continue to produce the quality programming on which you have come to rely for many more years to come. As a member, you will receive: • KCUR’s Member Magazine • Email newsletters customized to your interests • Invitations to member-only events • Advance purchase of tickets to certain KCUR sponsored events While we appreciate gifts of any amount, we do offer special thank you gifts at our most popular giving levels, including the MemberCard, which offers 2-for-1 discounts at various restaurants, theaters, and other area attractions. KCUR memberships renew on an annual basis. Members may give a one-time gift or may elect to contribute on a quarterly or monthly basis. For your convenience we offer four ways to become a member: 1. You may go to our secure on-line pledge form and make a pledge. While there you can look at the different thank-you-gifts offered at various levels. 2. You may call KCUR at 816-235-1551 and ask for our membership department. We can take your pledge over the phone and bill you or you can pay with a credit card. 3. You may mail your gift to KCUR. You may opt to participate in our Sustaining Member Program with Electronic Transfer Contribution. Make giving easier by having a specified amount deducted each month from your bank account.
