Emilie is an experienced multimedia journalist. She has done web production work for Marketplace and KPCC. She has reported for print, radio and online media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, KQED and California Watch. She has also worked as a web editor, web producer and web writer.

She earned her master's in journalism in 2010 from USC's Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism and her bachelor's from Pomona College.

Local UFO Sightings On The Rise

The number of UFO sightings in Missouri has been on the rise since May 2011, and it's not slowing down. This is according to Margie Kay, a field investigator with the Missouri chapter of the Mutual UFO Network.

Prepare For The Supermoon

This Saturday at 10:35pm CST marks the return of the supermoon - the coincidence of a full Moon with the perigee of the Moon's orbit around the Earth.

The full Moon will appear up to 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than the other Moons we've seen this year.
