Kansas City, MO – Eldar Djangirov wowed jazz audiences in Kansas City as pre-teen prodigy in the late 90s. Now 20, the Russian-born pianist is turning heads again with his third album.
Re-Imagination is made up mostly of material Eldar composed himself and includes contributions from hip hop artist DJ Logic. KCUR's jazz correspondent Lee Ingalls spoke to Eldar about the new album his expanding concept of the jazz piano.
