All four Republican members of Congress from Kansas will be returning to Washington after victories in Tuesday's election.

Kansas Republican Congressmen Kevin Yoder, Mike Pompeo and Tim Huelskamp were all re-elected to the GOP-controlled U.S. House of Representatives.  So was Republican Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins, who faced perhaps the strongest challenge.  Jenkins defeated Democrat Tobias Schlingensiepen and Libertarian Dennis Hawver.

“I’m humbled the support of the people here in the 2nd district, and I’m ready to get back to work in the morning to deal with debt and deficit issue and jobs and the economy,” said Jenkins.
Jenkins main rival -- Topeka pastor Tobias Schlingensiepen -- is a political newcomer and was gracious in defeat.

“She’s going to have a tough job ahead of her, and I wish her all the best,” said Slingensiepen.

The four Kansas Republicans returning to Congress will be part of a GOP majority in the U-S House, but they'll  have to contend with a Democratically-controlled Senate and White House.
