Moving one step closer to a final resolution on Kansas City International Airport's future, Mayor Sly James' task force recommended a new single terminal Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday's Up to Date, Steve Kraske talks with the co-chairs of that advisory panel about why it recommended this option, which has encountered fierce opposition in the Kansas City metro area.

Guests:

  • Bob Berkebile, BNIM principal architect
  • David Fowler, former managing partner at KPMG LLP
When I host Up To Date each morning at 9, my aim is to engage the community in conversations about the Kansas City area’s challenges, hopes and opportunities. I try to ask the questions that listeners want answered about the day’s most pressing issues and provide a place for residents to engage directly with newsmakers.
