Kansas City, MO – Two members of the Kansas City council discussed their proposed, compromise budget for the city.

The Kansas Senate will take a final vote on a health reform bill that includes no new funding to help low-income people buy health insurance.

The Kansas Senate also has rejected a proposal to stop the state from paying sales tax on materials used in renovating the Statehouse.
