Local Islamic Organization Offers To Answer Questions About Their Faith

Kansas City, MO – In his inaugural address this week, President Obama said one of his goals is for the United States to seek a way forward with the Muslim world based on mutual interest and respect. One Muslim group in Kansas City has already taken big steps to make this happen. KC Currents' Alex Smith went to the Islamic Center of Kansas in Olathe to speak with Riyaz Lareef about the Muslim hotline at 800-662-ISLAM, he also spoke with hotline volunteer Habib Raja. Lareef is the spokesperson for the Kansas City chapter of the Islamic Circle of North America.
