Kansas City Illustrator Shares His New Collaboration, 'Chocolate Me!'

Actor Taye Diggs is known for his roles in the original Broadway production of Rent and the movie How Stella Got Her Groove Back.  And although Diggs often plays the hunk on the silver screen, as a kid he was teased for his dark skin and curly hair.  He recently told that story in the children’s book Chocolate Me!, which was co-written and illustrated by his childhood friend, Kansas City artist and author Shane Evans.
