Seg. 1: Ranking American Presidents. Seg. 2: FBI Investigates Collegiate Basketball

The White House
In C-Span's 2017 survey of U.S. presidents, Barack Obama ranked the highest of the three most recent former presidents, coming in at 12th. Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were ranked 15th and 33rd, respectively.

Segment 1: How the U.S. presidents stack up against each other.

With a membership of just 45, it's an elite club. But how does this selective group of Americans compare to each other? C-Span's 2017 Presidential Historians Survey tackled that subject for us, and one of the survey's experts told us why our former commanders-in-chief rank where they do.

The Dole Institute's 2018 Presidential Lecture Series featuring Richard Norton Smith is free and open to the public. The next talk, Learning From Success, is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Dole Institute of Politics. The series resumes March 12 and 14. For more information, visit DoleInstitute.org.

Segment 2, beginning at 44:35: The latest news in college basketball.

With March Madness looming there is no shortage of college sports news, especially for a certain team calling Lawrence, Kansas, home.  The upcoming NCAA tournament, and a recent nab of their 14th straight Big 12 title, aren't the only news stories featuring the University of Kansas' basketball program. We talked about a recent FBI investigation into the sport, and why a former Jayhawks player is involved.
