The weekly broadcasts of the show, LIVE! from the Mutual Musicians Foundation in Kansas City’s 18th and Vine Historic District, begin on Saturday, July 4.
“We’re very excited to be selected for broadcast by KCUR,” shared Theater League president Mark Edelman. “The show has been fun to produce and our audiences at the Foundation have had a great time. Now, we’re going to send the jazz, blues and comedy out to KCUR listeners throughout the metro area and—via their website, kcur.org—all over the world.”
KCUR General Manager Patty Cahill joined Edelman in praise for the new program. “I attended a few of the 12 OCLOCK JUMP pilot shows,” she explained. “This is a perfect entertainment and educational program for our station and its audience. We want to spread the word about what’s happening at the Foundation, the 18th and Vine District and KC’s exciting jazz scene.” Learn more
