Green Sewers For Kansas City?

Kansas City, MO – Kansas City Missouri is under pressure from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) to reduce the amount of untreated storm-water and sewage being discharged into area waterways. The city plan was due July 31st, but the city council voted to petition the EPA and MDNR for a 6 month extension to draft a model "green" overflow control plan. This week the extension was granted.
