Hydroponic Greenhouse To Grace KC Riverfront

Greenhouse developers brought examples of produce-products to Kansas City City Hall.

This year the landscape will change dramatically along the banks of the Missouri River just Northeast of Kansas City’s downtown. A hundred thousand square feet of greenhouses are planned for growing produce for a local supermarket chain.

Port Authority Chair Resigns

Kansas City, MO – After several months of controversy, the board chairman of the agency in charge of development of the Riverfront area and the old Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base is resigning.

Councilman John Sharp made the announcement at the council business session, adding praise for Trey Runnion and a comment on the situation.
