Kansas City – Educators from 12 area districts, business owners and parents assembled for a roundtable on education financing November 18 at Longview Community College. The crowd backed a revenue increase to stop dwindling budgets, but Republican leadership in Jefferson City contends the revenue shortage is a "Democratic fiction."
