This week, a film made in New Zealand premieres at the Glenwood Theatre; the Spencer museum encourages visitors to lounge on inflatable sofas; and Paul Mesner Puppets team up with the Civic Opera for the production of The Mikado.By Sara Lerner

Kansas City, MO – In Her Majesty, a 13-year-old girl dreams of meeting Queen Elizabeth and finds herself in the middle of a town conflict. The film premieres tonight at the Glenwood Theatre in Overland Park.; The Spencer Museum of Art opens a new exhibit with inflatable couches under each piece of artwork; and Paul Mesner Puppets
and The Civic Opera of Kansas City join together for an elaborate production at the Folly Theater.
