Arts Roundup, Friday May 14

This week, the celebration of found art; loud and colorful paintings with subtler dark themes; and the Wylliams-Henry dance company performs one piece that takes place in an imaginary church chapel. By Sara Lerner

Kansas City, MO – Found Magazine goes on tour promoting a new book of found art; Dana Schutz paintings at The Johnson County Community College Gallery of Art use loud colors and themes of nature, female figures, and flesh-eating lovers; and the Wylliams/Henry Danse Theatre performs their spring concert, which includes one piece by choreographer Kevin Iega Jeff.
