Alvin Brooks talks about Precious Doe

Alvin Brooks
Kansas City, Mo. City Council
Alvin Brooks

By Steve Bell

Kansas City, MO – Steve Bell's comments on the interview:
Alvin Brooks has been active in fighting crime in Kansas City from his days on the police force through more than 35 years of leading community organizations like the Ad Hoc Group on Crime and Move Up. All I did was say, "Let's talk about Precious Doe," and turn on the recorder. From there on out, I think I asked maybe two questions and made one comment. Along the way, the mayor pro-tem explained his theory on this case and recounted some fascinating incidents in the battle against crime. Those who listen will understand more about Precious Doe, about fighting crime, and about Alvin Brooks.
