Kansas City, MO – An update on the progress of Kansas City, Missouri's Commission on Violent Crime from the commission chair, Stacey Daniels-Young. Bike along with Kenneth Walker, founder of the "Major Taylor Flaming Sprokets", a group of African American cyclists. Also, an interview with Ghanaian painter George Hughes, the history of the Kansas City Latino Writers Collective and an interview with Angela Cervantes.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
