The Johnson County Health Department has reported a case of measles. Dr. Leon Vinci, of the health department, says it is an isolated case. A small child contracted the virus in another country but did not get symptoms until returning to Kansas.

Vinci: "We don't anticipate this situation going any further and this will probably be the only case of measles we see."

Vinci says the child's parents are isolating the child to prevent the spread of the virus.
