Kansas City, MO – Kansas City, Missouri residents vote on August 8 whether to continue a two-term limit for city council members and the mayor. Hear opposing views from the fifth district council members Terry Riley and Becky Nace. Poets Stanley and Janet Banks discuss their new performance Some Funk from him, and Some Funk from Her, part of the KC Fringe Festival. Plus, writer Andre Byers returns home to launch his new book Slanted Subjects. And, a preview of the Kansas City Health & Fitness Festival at 18th & Vine.
