Kansas City, MO – At StoryCorps recording booths across the country, friends and loved ones interview each other about their lives. Each Wednesday during NPR's Morning Edition, we'll bring you a story recorded at the MobileBooth in Kansas City. Samantha Moreno Petty and Cecilia Vigliaturo came to the booth to talk about a childhood accident from thirty years ago. When Samantha was in the fourth grade, she told her friend Jeff he couldn't play with her viola. Minutes later, he picked up a gun, loaded it, and shot her.
