StoryCorps in KC: Frances Robinson and Cynthia Robinson

By edited by Laura Spencer

Kansas City, MO – At StoryCorps recording booths across the country, friends and loved ones interview each other about their lives. Each Wednesday during NPR's Morning Edition, we'll bring you a story recorded at the MobileBooth in Kansas City. This week, Frances Robinson tells her daughter Cynthia a story about the outlaw Jesse James. According to family lore, when Frances Robinson's father was a boy growing up in Wisconsin, the local sheriff asked her grandfather to help apprehend Jesse James at a nearby farmhouse...and her father tagged along.
