Kansas City, MO – Between term limits and the five council members running for mayor, more than half of the seats on the Kansas City Missouri city council are up for grabs in the upcoming election. On Thursday evening, candidates for the third and fifth district council seats addressed about a hundred people at a forum sponsored by the NAACP and the local chapter of the sorority AKA. KCUR's Sylvia Maria Gross was there.
