WEB EXTRA: A Song from <I>Forty-five Minutes Until Good-bye</I>

Forty-five Minutes Until Good-bye is a whimsical macabre musical about two women who host a series of funerals. It features theater artists (and former Evaporated Milk Society members) Laura Frank and Allison Waters and an original music score by composer Jeffrey Ruckman. Here, Laura and Allison sing an excerpt from the climax of the production: a burial at sea. By Laura Spencer

"Forty-five Minutes Until Good-bye is an intimate performance experience that will be presented June 15 - July 7 (Thursday through Sunday) at the Urban Culture Project's newest venue, la Esquina, located just off of Southwest Boulevard (1000 West 25th Street) in downtown Kansas City. Two performers and musicians will tell a story using music, song, dance, stilt walking and unexpected visual transformations. The show will be presented twice, nightly, and promises to be a highly visceral, unique experience in live media for all who participate."
