Kansas City, MO – KCUR's Laura Spencer talked recently to Crutcher about his new novel, Deadline, and the appearance in recent years of his works on top 10 banned books lists, compiled by the American Library Association.
The Kansas City Public Library, in association with Reading Reptile bookstore, will host award-winning author Chris Crutcher on Tuesday, October 16, at 7 p.m. Crutcher will discuss his latest novel, Deadline, at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main Street. A reception will precede the discussion at 6:30 p.m.
