Local Teachers Win Prestigious Milken Award

Kansas City, MO – Two Kansas City area teachers received prestigious Milken Foundation awards Tuesday. Eric Kessler who teaches biology at Blue Valley North, in Overland Park and Jamelle McConnell-Brown at Sumner Academy in Kansas City Kansas, each won a $25,000 award.
