With more than 30 years experience in museum management, Brian Alexander most recently served as the Executive Director and CEO for the World Figure Skating Museum and Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Previously, Alexander was president of the Historic Annapolis Foundation and director of the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. John Dillingham is the President of the Board of Governors for the Liberty Memorial Association and says he expects Alexander to use his experience to build on the momentum created when the museum opened a year ago December.

John Dillingham: He's apparently highly regarded in the professional world. And I think that will add a new dimension that we haven't had up to now.

New president and CEO Brian Alexander succeeds Steve Berkheiser, who resigned in May. Laura Spencer, KCUR News.
