Gov. Blunt Will Not Seek Second Term

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Governor Matt Blunt surprised the state of Missouri this afternoon with the announcement he will not seek reelection. After citing a list of his accomplishments, the governor said he did not run for office to have a title, but to institute change. He said he has done that and will retire.
