Dolores Arzola Campaigns for KCMO School Board

By Sylvia Maria Gross

Kansas City, MO – Four out of nine seats on Kansas City's school board are up for re-election on April 8, and none of them are officially contested. Computer programmer Airick Leonard West is running for Eddy's at-large seat. Incumbent Duane Kelly is unopposed in subdistrict three, former district advisory commission chairman Ray Wilson is also running unopposed for the fifth subdistrict. And no one is on the ballot for the first subdistrict - though Dolores Arzola, who's head of the District Advisory Committee, is full speed ahead on her write-in campaign. She spoke recently to KCUR's Sylvia Maria Gross.
