Kansas City, MO –

  • Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius this morning vetoed another coal-fired power plant bill. The Senate has already successfully overridden the veto, and House leaders are trying to swing the extra needed votes to override the veto.
  • The Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Aerospace is in Kansas City today, and according to the Kansas City Star, visited the location near KCI where a $375-million airliner plant might be located.
  • A measure to reverse part of Missouri's stem-cell protection amendment probably will not make the November ballot.

  • KCUR prides ourselves on bringing local journalism to the public without a paywall — ever.
