Kansas City, MO –
Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius this morning vetoed another coal-fired power plant bill. The Senate has already successfully overridden the veto, and House leaders are trying to swing the extra needed votes to override the veto. The Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Aerospace is in Kansas City today, and according to the Kansas City Star, visited the location near KCI where a $375-million airliner plant might be located. A measure to reverse part of Missouri's stem-cell protection amendment probably will not make the November ballot.
