A federal investigation is reportedly examining whether a Kansas City-based dairy cooperative tried to inflate prices. Dairy Farmers of America controls about a third of the nation's milk supply. Governor Kathleen Sebelius has vetoed a voter photo-ID bill that passed the Kansas legislature. She also vetoed a bill that would end the governor's power to fill vacancies in Congress and signed a measure that increases school funding.The Leawood city council will be talking about coyotes again tonight. The wild canines have attacked at least nine dogs in the Leawood area. Seven of the attacks were fatal.
