As Kansas City leaders ponder getting a regional transit system rolling, a new concern emerges. A starter system paid for by Kansas City would be a losing proposition until a regional plan is underway. Also, city attorneys say it will be difficult if not impossible to create a regional tax that allows Kansas City to pay a lesser share in the expansion of the system.Eric Feltner, Chief of Staff to Missouri Lt. Governor Peter Kinder has resigned following his arrest on pornography charges. Feltner is charged with trying to provide pornographic materials to a minor. Police say Feltner believed he was communicating with a 13-year-old girl, who was in fact an undercover officer.
