Kansas City, MO – The Johnson County Board of Commissioners gave the go ahead to putting a measure on the November ballot to finance a research triangle.

The fight over Stilwell has ended. The Johnson County Commission voted down an effort to turn the community into a city in its own right.

The Johnson County Commission also voted to end talks about a proposed parkway connecting the county to Cass County in Missouri.

Kansas City Councilman Russ Johnson sketched out a new two-phase transit plan yesterday.

The Kansas City council approved a new plan for leaf and brush drop off.

Kansas Attorney General Stephen Six is hinting he'll run for the office in 2010.
