Kansas City, MO – Independence school district officials had planned on getting a first look at seven schools transferred from the Kansas City district but were kept out.

Missouri Governor Matt Blunt has cut $500,000 contribution to the restoration of the courthouse where Harry Truman started his career in politics.

Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon reports online profiles of 370 registered sex offenders have removed from Myspace.

With the July 4 weekend coming up, Lake of the Ozarks swimmers are being urged to take precautions. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources says five out of 53 water samples taken from the lake show elevated levels of E.coli.
