  • An engineering review of Kansas City's proposed light rail starter line says the cost of the project was underestimated by about 20 percent.
  • The ATA will receive $6 million dollars in federal money to improve bus rapid transit along the troost corridor.
  • Westar is asking for a 15% electric rate hike. Hearings begin next month.
  • A city council committee has approved funding for the mayor's defense in a discrimination suit, but not for the mayor's wife.
