Kansas City, MO – A 4400-ballot data entry in Shawnee County, KS failed to reverse the results in the Jenkins-Ryun race to run against Congresswoman Nancy Boyda.

  • The final 500 Missouri ballots are counted, and Chris Koster maintained his 800-vote lead over Margaret Donnelly.
  • The ethics commission has dropped money laundering charges against Koster.
  • Bond set at $100,000 for man shot while holding up Northland ATM customers.
  • Sprint Nextel continued disappointing performance in the second quarter, losing another 900,000 customers and $344 million.

  • KCUR prides ourselves on bringing local journalism to the public without a paywall — ever.
