  • The Kansas City council passed a new domestic violence ordinance today, but not by unanimous vote. The ordinance will make protection order violations municipal crimes.
  • Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius continues to campaign for Barack Obama... and to not comment on whether she will be his vice presidential nominee.
  • Chris Koster is certified as winner in the race for Democrat for Missouri attorney general, but still faces a recount and more ethics charges.
  • KU Chancellor Robert Hemenway says budget cuts the Regents want will result in cutting about 125 jobs.
  • Kansas State and Iowa State's football teams will play each other at Arrowhead in 2009 and 2010.
