The Kansas City council passed a new domestic violence ordinance today, but not by unanimous vote. The ordinance will make protection order violations municipal crimes.

Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius continues to campaign for Barack Obama... and to not comment on whether she will be his vice presidential nominee.

Chris Koster is certified as winner in the race for Democrat for Missouri attorney general, but still faces a recount and more ethics charges.

KU Chancellor Robert Hemenway says budget cuts the Regents want will result in cutting about 125 jobs.

Kansas State and Iowa State's football teams will play each other at Arrowhead in 2009 and 2010.
