Kansas City, MO –

  • The first of Kansas City, Missouri's red-light traffic-cams was activated today at 39th and Southwest Trafficway.
  • Police believe the deaths of a woman and her 17-month-old daughter in the Blue River to be murder-suicide.
  • Budget cuts have led to staff cuts at KU, including 55 faculty positions to remain unfilled.

    Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
