Kansas City police are looking for the owners of $150,000 in stolen property recovered from house burglars arrested Saturday.

The Missouri House has passed a measure that would give the governor and legislature more power in selection of judges.

The House also advanced a bill prohibiting sex offenders from loitering near parks or coaching youth athletics.

Governor Kathleen Sebelius signed a bill expanding Kansas' rape shield law and the types of offenses to which it applies
