Missouri Governor Jay Nixon stopped at UMKC's nursing school yesterday, to highlight a recently approved initiative aimed at expanding the state's health care workforce.

Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson says state revenues will likely fall below expectations and is preparing to make more budget cuts.

The Kansas Attorney General's office is teaming up with 48 states and the Federal Trade Commission for "Operation False Charity."
