Kansas City, MO – Some hundred fifty people gathered near the JC Nichols Fountain last night, to mourn the death of Wichita doctor George Tiller.

Clay Chastain was back in Kansas City over the weekend, collecting petition signatures in Brookside. This time, he also wants to amend the city charter.

A first-of-its-kind report by the Kansas Health Institute ranks all 105 counties in Kansas by health status.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
