  • A strong storm that ripped through the region overnight has left thousands of people without power. St. Louis County's main government building was also struck by lightning and has shut down for the day.

  • Recent changes to the Americans with Disabilities Act are the subject of a national meeting in downtown Kansas City today.

  • The animal euthanasia rate at one Kansas City, Kansas shelter has dropped this year from 54 percent to 4 percent.

  • Lee's Summit police are still in search of a man who robbed a Hen House grocery store over the weekend.
