Kansas City, MO – Kansas City's police chief has taken critical jabs since the "Star" revealed purchase of dozens of new patrol cars, sitting idle in garages waiting to be outfitted. The chief fires back with an audit.

Council member Cathy Jolly requested an extra $200,000 for the construction of the regional jail sparking a hearty debate.
