Kansas City, MO – The Nelson-Atkins opens its new American Indian art galleries next month. The museum has announced a significant gift from longtime patrons Estelle and Morton Sosland.

The Kansas City city council took the power to do something about crumbling nuisance properties yesterday and heard an important report on reviving the urban core.

Kansas City police chief Jim Corwin joined the mayor and several city council members yesterday to endorse the renewal of the Combat anti-drug tax in Jackson County.
