Kansas City, MO – Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has again cut the state budget for the current fiscal year, which began in July of 2009.

The Missouri Senate has passed a proposed constitutional amendment that would combine the two departments that oversee education into one state agency.

A bill that would expand the information women must receive 24 hours before undergoing an abortion has passed the Missouri Senate.

The Kansas Supreme Court says state law does not give a state administrative agency authority to fine public employers in some labor disputes.
