Kansas City, MO – NAACP delegates voted yesterday to repudiate racism in the Tea Party movement. The organization's national convention is in Kansas City this week.

A bomb scare at a fundraiser for Kansas Secretary of State candidate Kris Kobach turned out to be a false alarm, but the crowd never seemed concerned.

A Kansas City Soldier from the Missouri National Guard has been killed in Afghanistan where his job was bomb removal.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
