KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
Thousands of air travelers had plans badly disrupted yesterday when a suspicious luggage went through a checkpoint at KCI Airport.
The Army Corps of Engineers expects water flowing down the Missouri river to be at normal levels by early next month, and with that drop, cities and counties along the river are starting to tally up the damage left by the summer floods.
The Kansas City Missouri Health department has begun offering seasonal flu vaccines, but uninsured or underinsured residents will no longer be able to get the shot there for free.
The events of 9-11 were commemorated in many ways across the metro yesterday, including a special tribute at Arrowhead stadium.
