KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
A Lenexa woman is missing and her husband, two sons and daughter-in-law remained hospitalized after an air show crash in Reno, Nev., that killed at least nine people.

Police say three men have been shot to death in a Kansas City apartment building.

Several members of Missouri's U.S. House delegation say they support legislation that requires the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to adjust water levels in upstream reservoirs on the Missouri River to prevent massive downstream flooding.

Working parents in tornado-ravaged Joplin are finding it tougher to find child care after more than half of the licensed day care spaces in the community vanished after the May 22 storm.
